It was constructed as a private residence in the 1870s for a wealthy local family, converted into a hotel in the early 20th Century. Over the years the Belgrave has had several renovations, but it retains many of its original features. The Galley restaurant, lounges and Wheelhouse bar are warm and inviting, with comfortable seating areas where you can enjoy your after-dinner drinks. All rooms are ensuite and offer TV, tea & coffee making facilities. There are nine steps to the entrance of the hotel, however, the there is a lift inside.
