Barmouth's location on the west coast of North Wales and lying between a mountain range and the sea on the mouth of the river Mawddach is arguably one of the most beautiful locations in Wales. Stratford is a market town with more than 800 years of history, containing not only many buildings that survive today and would have been familiar to Shakespeare, but also a thriving community offering a wide variety of leisure and shopping experiences. Another great value day out!

The Black and White Villages of North West Herefordshire and the market towns of Leominster and Kington contain hundreds of timber framed buildings, many of great age. Their churches, too, remind us of the long history of this area, containing records of people and events going back to Domesday and beyond. The Black and White Village Trail is a 40 mile circular trail set out in a clockwise direction. The trail begins and finishes in Leominster. You will pass through the following towns and villages whilst following the Black and White Village Trail: Leominster Dilwyn Weobley Sarnesfield Kinnersley Eardisley Kington Lyonshall Pembridge Eardisland You will have a stop in Kington for lunch, a photo opportunity in Eardisland and Weobley, as well as free time in Leominster before we make our journey back to the local area.
