Join us as we visit Matlock for Market day & Bakewell.Our first port of call, is Matlock. Once famed for its hydro and spa treatments, Matlock's central location, scenic surroundings and public transport links make it a popular base for a great day out. There are plenty of things to do in Matlock. In the heart of Matlock sits Hall Leys Park with its boating lake, riverside walks, tennis courts and skateboard park. In Matlock town centre there are pretty streets full of small, independent shops, and a host of cafés, pubs and restaurants in which to relax. You will find Matlock's Outdoor Market at Hall Leys Park, which is held every Wednesday.After a bit of shopping, we head north to Bakewell. Idyllically situated on the banks of the river Wye, the biggest town in the Peak District National Park's mellow stone buildings, medieval five-arched stone bridge and quaint courtyards are a magnet for painters, photographers and sightseers alike. Legend has it that the town's famous Bakewell Pudding was created by mistake by a local cook in the mid-19th century. Today her delectable 'jam tart that went wrong' can be sampled at various bakeries and cafés and posted virtually anywhere in the world!

Enjoy your return journey from Bury to Rawtenstall Station. You will then meet our luxury coach back in Bury ready to start our journey back to the Midlands.
In the north east of Leicestershire, discover a wealth of local produce in the regional food captial of Melton Mowbray.Pork Pies and Stilton cheese are made here and at the heart of Melton’s appeal. English royalty’s association with Melton goes back to the 1100s and the town was at the centre of the Leicestershire Hunt, giving the county its mascot and symbol, the Leicestershire fox. Today, we depart the Midlands and make our way west as we head towards Aberdovey.We will take a comfort break at Charlie's Garden Centre located just outside of Welshpool before continuing with our journey to the coast. Charlie's (Coed-y-Dinas) is one of Wales' largest independent, family-run retailers selling everything you need to enjoy your home, garden and time outdoors. Coed-y-Dinas has both a Country Store and a Garden & Home Centre; a vast array of products, from footwear and cooking utensils through to tools and camping, all at great prices.After our break at Charlie's, we continue our journey to Aberdovey. Aberdovey is a thriving little harbour resort set within the Snowdonia National Park, where the river Dyfi meets the blue waters of Cardigan Bay. Aberdovey boasts some of the finest beaches in Britain with four miles of golden sand-dune backed shoreline running north to Tywyn.

Had a fantastic Christmas in Scotland with Plimbley travel with Steve and Rachel what a lovely time we had the palace hotel is absolutely fantastic, the staff were were friendly and anything you asked for was there for you the room we had was brilliant we both had a fantastic holiday that we needed with very sociable people on the same holiday as us I even loved the snow we will be booking again very soon thank you to Steve and Rachel for getting us back home through the terrible weather going home and still being so very happy we can recommend Plimbley Travel you book is exactly what you receive we both wish you a happy and prosperous new year for 2024 Brian and Maggie x
Went on a day trip to Chester 24th February. Really good day out, driver was funny and made you relaxed. Will definitely use again.
Just come back from the Winnock Hotel,built 1702 at Drymen,incorporating a visit to thr Royal Edinburgh Tattoo. All went well. Hotel,food driver all A1. We even managed a Olinbley Ramble as we did in February.
We travel with Steve and Rachel to Disneyland Paris. They was absolutely amazing everything went well. I felt so sorry for Steve driving all that way while everyone on the coach got to sleep amazing driver would definitely 100% recommend them. We all played bingo on the way there and back and got to win a prize. It was a very long journey but we loved it hotel was amazing nice and clean friendly staff and also the Disney land park was amazing. If you ever go to Disneyland prepare yourself for a long journey but it is worth it it took us 14 hours about to get there and 14 hours to get back.
